Slavyanka

White cabbage of the Slavyanka variety is a high-quality vegetable grown in Ukraine. This hybrid is distinguished by its late maturity and long vegetative period of up to 165 days, making it especially suitable for planting in hot southern regions. The cabbage forms round, flattened heads with dark green leaf color, dense structure, and a mass ranging from 2.5 to 3 kg. The leaves are covered with a prominent waxy coating, have wavy edges with incisions, which gives them a special texture and attractive appearance.

The Slavyanka variety possesses high resistance to rot and bacterial diseases, ensuring a stable and high yield — up to 8.5 kg per square meter. Thanks to excellent storability, the cabbage can be stored until spring without losing taste qualities or market appearance. It transports well and is not prone to cracking, which makes this variety convenient for commercial growing and sales.

Slavyanka cabbage is widely used in cooking: it is suitable for preparing salads, pickling, and hot dishes. The cut format of the product facilitates and speeds up the cooking process. The nutritional value of the cabbage is about 30 kcal per 100 grams, while it contains 15 g of proteins and 6 g of carbohydrates, containing no fats. It is recommended to store the cabbage at a temperature from 1 to 4 degrees, which allows to preserve freshness and useful properties for a week.
