PRODIKOS

PRODIKOS — a late maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by Syngenta. The maturity period is 125–130 days after transplanting, allowing for a stable and high yield. The plant features compact, evenly formed heads with an attractive internal structure and dense upper leaves covered with a waxy coating. The average head weight reaches 3 kg, making this hybrid appealing for fresh sale, processing, pickling, and long-term storage.

PRODIKOS cabbage is resistant to fusarium and damage by thrips, significantly reducing cultivation risks. The plant prefers moderate watering and adapts well to open-ground conditions. The hybrid is suitable for mechanical harvesting and pneumatic cleaning, simplifying harvest operations and increasing efficiency.

One of the key advantages of PRODIKOS is its long storage capability — up to 8 months — while the heads retain a fresh green color and excellent taste qualities. The recommended planting density is approximately 45,000 plants per hectare, optimizing land use and maximizing yield.
