Description PRODIKOS
PRODIKOS — a late maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by Syngenta. The maturity period is 125–130 days after transplanting, allowing for a stable and high yield. The plant features compact, evenly formed heads with an attractive internal structure and dense upper leaves covered with a waxy coating. The average head weight reaches 3 kg, making this hybrid appealing for fresh sale, processing, pickling, and long-term storage.

PRODIKOS cabbage is resistant to fusarium and damage by thrips, significantly reducing cultivation risks. The plant prefers moderate watering and adapts well to open-ground conditions. The hybrid is suitable for mechanical harvesting and pneumatic cleaning, simplifying harvest operations and increasing efficiency.

One of the key advantages of PRODIKOS is its long storage capability — up to 8 months — while the heads retain a fresh green color and excellent taste qualities. The recommended planting density is approximately 45,000 plants per hectare, optimizing land use and maximizing yield. This hybrid is ideal for those who value quality, reliability, and versatility in cabbage usage.
