Cabbage Lyubasha

Working with the "Lyubasha" leaf cabbage

When "Lyubasha" from Agrofirma Poisk appears in the field, the agronomist's work becomes predictable. This is an early-ripening leaf cabbage variety that shows stable results under intensive farming conditions. When planted as seedlings, the cycle to commercial maturity is only 30–40 days, allowing growers to quickly meet fresh market demand for early greens.

Field characteristics and operation

For those involved in relay cropping, "Lyubasha" is convenient due to its consistency. The plant forms a neat rosette with yellow-green foliage. With proper management, head weight varies from 1.0 to 2.0 kg. During the growing season, the cabbage does not require specific, complex maintenance, responding to standard fertilizing and irrigation with vigorous leaf growth.

• Turnaround speed: Minimal ripening times allow for multiple harvests per season with the right sowing schedule.
• Market quality: The leaves have a pleasant yellow-green shade, which highlights the produce on the shelf.
• Yield: A weight of 1.0–2.0 kg is the ideal format for consumers looking for a convenient "one-time use" portion, minimizing food waste.

Maintenance comes down to protecting against common cruciferous pests and maintaining soil moisture. "Lyubasha" is forgiving of minor agronomic oversights while remaining suitable for fresh market sales thanks to its attractive appearance and succulent leaves. This is a reliable asset for a farmer who values time and supply chain stability.
