Cabbage Modern

Yield stability and storage potential

The «Modern» Beijing cabbage from Ooo Npf Agrosemtoms is the go-to choice for growers who plan to sell produce beyond the peak season and into winter storage. From a practical standpoint, this hybrid is highly predictable in the field: the rosette forms compactly, which allows for optimal plant density without compromising head quality.

Cultivation and growth cycle

To reach a marketable weight of 1.0–1.5 kg, this variety requires 70 to 80 days. This timeframe is excellent for planning a sequential harvest. The plants respond well to standard fertilization schedules and are not prone to premature bolting during minor temperature fluctuations, which is critical for unpredictable climates. Consistency in watering is key; the «Modern» hybrid thrives when moisture levels are stable, which directly improves head density and presentation.

Harvesting and storage results

The main advantage is the heads' resistance to mechanical damage during handling and storage. The harvest is uniform with a dense structure, simplifying logistics and transport. Heads weighing 1.0–1.5 kg are the perfect size for retail markets and vegetable shops—they don't overgrow and maintain a tidy appearance. Experience has shown that when kept at appropriate temperatures, the cabbage retains its crisp texture and original leaf color throughout the storage period.
