Cabbage Lyudmila

Proven classics for your garden

The "Lyudmila" variety from the Sedek seed company is a choice for those who rely on time-tested solutions. In an era dominated by ultra-early hybrids, this mid-late variety remains relevant due to its ease of cultivation and versatility in usage.

Agronomic profile

The growing season is 120–130 days from transplanting. This is a classic cabbage for the main crop, intended both for winter storage and processing. The head is round, weighing 1.0–2.0 kg, and features a dense internal structure, making it convenient for transportation and culinary use.

Core advantages

• Cultivation stability: Developed by originators (Dubinin S.V., Dubinina I.N., Lukyanenko A.N.), the variety is tailored to regions where consistent yields are a priority.
• Versatility: It is excellent for fermenting (sauerkraut), pickling, and fresh consumption during the winter months.
• Predictability: Unlike many modern hybrids, "Lyudmila" demonstrates clear growth dynamics, which is crucial for farmers who prefer established agricultural practices.

Who should choose "Lyudmila"?

This variety is optimal for private gardens and small-scale farms. If your goal is to harvest neat, medium-sized heads that are resistant to cracking and perform exceptionally well in ferments, "Lyudmila" will become a reliable tool in your agricultural inventory.
