Black Magic leaf cabbage is an outstanding hybrid of the Cavolo Nero (Lacinato) variety type, distinguished by its deep green color and rich, sweet taste. The plants are upright, with narrow strap-like leaves that are deeply crinkled and covered with a strong waxy coating, giving them a decorative appearance. The leaf rosette height reaches up to 60 cm, and the period from transplanting to harvest is 55-60 days. The hybrid boasts high yield, improved resistance to bolting and frost down to -18°C, allowing cabbage cultivation almost year-round, including winter. Black Magic leaf cabbage is widely used in home cooking: young leaves are suitable for salads, while older leaves are ideal for braising, freezing, and other types of processing. In terms of amino acid content, this variety is not inferior to meat, and in calcium content, it surpasses whole milk.
