FLIGHT

Flight F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of cabbage developed by the Dutch company Wing Seeds. This variety matures 63-65 days after transplanting seedlings into open ground, allowing for early harvest. The cabbage is intended for fresh consumption and is characterized by high plant uniformity, which facilitates cultivation planning and product sales.

The plant is compact with a high growth force, forming round heads of bluish-green color weighing from 1.5 to 2.5 kilograms. The heads have an excellent structure, are deep and moderately covered, with snow-white internal coloring. The hybrid is distinguished by high tolerance to cracking and possesses excellent keeping qualities on the root, making it suitable for transportation and long-term storage.

Flight is resistant to blackleg and other diseases, including resistance to Foc: 1IR Xcc. It tolerates heat and temperature fluctuations well, allowing it to be grown in spring, summer, and autumn periods. The recommended planting density is 45,000–55,000 plants per hectare, which contributes to obtaining a high and quality yield.
