White cabbage Beleadonna is a mid-early hybrid that matures 55-60 days after transplanting seedlings into open ground. The plants have a powerful vegetative apparatus and actively develop the root system at the early growth stages. Outer leaves are of medium size, green in color with a waxy coating of weak or medium intensity, forming a semi-erect rosette. Heads are round, uniform, 20-24 cm in diameter and weighing from 1.7 to 2.0 kg, characterized by a dense internal structure and a short stem, which ensures good resistance to cracking.
This hybrid is distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities: heads have a white-yellow color at the cut, are tasty and crunchy, making them ideal for preparing salads and preserves. Leaves are slightly wavy, and the shape of heads is uniform, which gives the vegetable an attractive appearance. White cabbage Beleadonna is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions and demonstrates resistance to pathogens and adverse weather factors.
For growing, seeds are sown for seedlings in March-April, transplanted at the cotyledon stage, and planted in open ground in mid-May in a well-lit place with a distance between plants of at least half a meter. The harvest is usually collected in August. The hybrid has medium resistance to Fusarium wilt and some susceptibility to diseases such as frost cracks and bacteriosis, which requires compliance with agricultural practices to maintain plant health.
