Zoltan

Zoltan F1 cabbage is a medium-late hybrid of white cabbage developed by breeders from the company Hazera of the Netherlands. The vegetation period is 120-125 days after transplanting seedlings, which corresponds to approximately four months. The plant is characterized by a well-developed root system and leaves with a strong waxy coating, contributing to its resistance to adverse conditions. The heads are round and weigh between 2 to 6 kilograms, depending on planting density and growing conditions.

The Zoltan hybrid is highly resistant to a range of diseases, including fusarium and bacterial diseases, and is tolerant to thrips and drought. Thanks to these qualities, the cabbage withstands transportation and long-term storage well, making it popular for both fresh markets and processing. The recommended planting density is 25 to 45 thousand plants per hectare, allowing for optimized yield and product quality.

Zoltan cabbage can be grown both in open fields and in plastic greenhouses for an earlier harvest. The hybrid is adaptable to various growing conditions, ensuring a stable and high yield under different climatic conditions. Due to its excellent taste and versatility, Zoltan cabbage is popular among farmers and consumers in many countries around the world.
