Strawberry DrisStrawFiftyThree

A Fast-Track to Harvest

The everbearing DriscStrawFiftyThree from the legendary US breeding company Driscolls is the go-to solution for growers who prioritize efficiency and speed. The standout feature of this hybrid is its remarkably early maturity; it takes only 35–40 days after planting to reach harvest, making it an excellent tool for quick investment turnover in open-field conditions.

Key Features and Market Advantages

• Premium Quality Fruit: The deep red color and classic conical shape ensure high shelf appeal. Its medium density offers the perfect trade-off between durability for transport and a pleasing, succulent texture.
• Efficient Propagation: The variety is genetically predisposed to produce a high number of runners. This significantly simplifies the expansion of your plantation, helping to reduce costs on future planting material.
• Field Performance: Engineered specifically for open-field cultivation, DriscStrawFiftyThree demonstrates strong adaptability to varying environmental conditions, ensuring consistent yield patterns.

Who is this hybrid for?

This variety is tailored for professional berry growers serving the fresh produce market. By capturing the early-season window when demand and prices are highest, producers gain a distinct competitive edge. However, growers should manage the plant's vigor: the prolific runner production requires regular maintenance to ensure the plant's energy is channeled primarily into fruit development rather than vegetative growth.

DriscStrawFiftyThree by Driscolls represents a pragmatic choice for farmers aiming for rapid production cycles and reliable, high-quality berries that meet consumer expectations.
