Strawberry DrisStrawFiftyNine

Consistent Yields: The Potential of Driscolls DristrawFiftyNine

For commercial farms prioritizing a continuous supply of fresh berries throughout the season, selecting the right variety is essential. DristrawFiftyNine, developed by the American breeding powerhouse Driscolls, is a professional-grade hybrid engineered specifically for intensive production environments.

Advantages and Growing Nuances

The primary strength of this hybrid is its robust everbearing (remontant) nature. Unlike traditional seasonal varieties, DristrawFiftyNine allows for a staggered, long-term harvest schedule, enabling better market logistics. Its firm flesh ensures excellent shipping capabilities, which is a prerequisite for supplying high-end retail chains. The conical shape and vibrant, bright red color provide the visual appeal that commercial buyers demand.

This hybrid performs reliably in both open fields and controlled greenhouse environments. In greenhouse conditions, DristrawFiftyNine truly excels, allowing growers to manage ripening timelines and mitigate environmental risks effectively.

Technical Considerations

The disease resistance profile for this variety is moderate. This means that success depends heavily on a proactive agronomic strategy, including regular monitoring and a professional phytosanitary program. While the hybrid possesses high genetic yield potential, it requires skilled management to achieve peak performance. For producers focused on industrial-scale quality, this hybrid is a dependable choice.

• Designed for professional commercial operations.
• High durability and transportability due to firm berry structure.
• Versatile application: suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation.
