Stability and Quality: Ukrainian Bean Selection

The «Slavia» variety, developed by the originator Iksgp «Naan» (Ukraine), has built a strong reputation as a reliable solution for those focusing on classic shelling (dry) beans. This variety is chosen for its predictable results and high adaptability to local climatic conditions, making it a staple for both commercial farms and smallholdings.

Agronomic Profile

The short, bush-type plant structure, reaching 40–50 cm in height, allows for the use of standard harvesting equipment, significantly reducing losses during mechanized operations. The compact habit of the plant ensures optimal aeration, which helps minimize the risk of fungal diseases.

• Maturity Period: With a cycle of 75–85 days, this mid-season variety successfully realizes its potential even in regions with shorter growing seasons.
• Technological Specs: Pods show a characteristic yellow hue during technical maturity. Upon full harvest, they yield high-quality white seeds known for their excellent culinary qualities.
• Usage: Due to its high protein content, this variety is ideal for the processing industry and long-term storage. The white grain of «Slavia» is considered a benchmark for soups, canning, and dry food production.

Choosing «Slavia» is a pragmatic decision for farmers looking for a proven, time-tested Ukrainian variety that combines resistance to lodging, uniform maturity, and a market-ready appearance.
