The Dniproanka pea variety belongs to medium-height plants with stem height ranging from 51 to 70 cm. A distinctive feature of this variety is the relatively low attachment of the lower pod to the plant — only about 8.2 cm from the soil surface, which may affect harvest convenience and pod resilience. Additionally, Dniproanka exhibits one of the smallest heights from soil surface to the tip of the lower pod — approximately 2.3 cm, which also characterizes the compact arrangement of pods on the plant.
Studies conducted under conditions of Western Forest-Steppe Ukraine showed that the Dniproanka variety exhibits certain biometric parameters, including number of internodes, pods, and seeds, which influence overall productivity and harvest quality. These indicators allow classifying Dniproanka as a high-yielding variety well-adapted to local climatic conditions.
Thus, the Dniproanka pea variety is a medium-height plant with compact pod placement, which may be advantageous for mechanized harvesting. The variety is suitable for cultivation in Western Forest-Steppe Ukraine and is characterized by stable productivity and fruit quality.
