Igolomska

The grain pea variety Igolomska is a medium-maturing bush-type variety characterized by high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. The vegetation period ranges from 90 to 120 days, enabling a stable harvest in open ground. Plants grow to a height of 30–55 cm, forming compact bushes with intensive fruiting. Pods reach a length of 14–15 cm and contain white, dense seeds with minimal veining.

The Igolomska variety is valued for the high nutritional value of its seeds, which contain up to 24% protein, making peas an excellent source of plant-based protein. The seeds are white, medium to large in size, suitable for culinary use, canning, and processing. Thanks to synchronized ripening and high seed germination, peas are easy to cultivate, and their resistance to lodging and common diseases ensures reliable yields.

For successful cultivation, peas should be sown on well-heated, sunny sites with nutrient-rich, loose soil. Seeds are sown from May to June, and harvest occurs from June to August. The variety is adaptable and stress-tolerant, making it suitable for various climatic conditions.
