Basil CARAMEL

Cultivation Features and Organoleptic Properties

Operating with the "Karamelny" basil variety from the FGBNU FNTsO, the grower achieves predictable results. This mid-season variety demonstrates stable vegetation. With a plant height of 40–60 cm, the bush forms a sufficiently powerful leaf rosette, simplifying both mechanized and manual harvesting. The leaves are large, with an intense purple-red color, making the crop not only a valuable seasoning but also an aesthetic element for any site.

Maintenance and Care

Basil is low-maintenance as long as basic agronomic standards are met: regular watering and loose, fertile soil. The high green mass productivity requires control over planting density to ensure sufficient lighting for maintaining the deep leaf pigment. The "Karamelny" variety is prized for its specific aroma, which is retained even after drying, increasing its marketability for fresh or processed produce.

Application in Agribusiness and Culinary

To ensure a stable yield, we recommend sowing in well-warmed soil. With proper agronomy, the variety shows excellent regeneration after cutting, allowing for multiple harvests per season.
