Plants grow to about 68 cm in height, exhibit lodging resistance, and have moderate drought tolerance, making this variety reliable for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region (approval zone 5). The 1000-grain weight varies from 46 to 58 grams, indicating high grain density and quality for malting.

Focus demonstrates high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including powdery mildew, leaf spot, rhi-nhosporiosis, dwarf rust, and ramulariosis.
