Barley Efekt

Optimized for High-Yield Performance

The «Efekt» two-row barley variety is a high-performance selection designed for modern farming operations that prioritize reliability and ease of management. With a plant height of 70–80 cm, the variety is structurally resistant to lodging, ensuring a straightforward harvesting process even in fields with high nutrient density or intensive management practices.

Disease Resilience and Economic Efficiency

For commercial growers, the key advantage of «Efekt» is its natural resistance to major foliar pathogens, specifically Helminthosporium leaf blight and powdery mildew. This genetic profile allows for a reduced dependency on chemical fungicides, enabling producers to optimize crop protection budgets while maintaining excellent grain health and quality standards throughout the season.

Field Application and Management

• Agronomic Strategy: The variety responds well to standard nitrogen fertilization schedules and is adaptable to various soil types across Ukraine, making it a versatile tool for crop rotation.
• Harvest Logistics: The uniformity of the ear and the structural integrity of the plant height minimize combine stress and grain loss, allowing for efficient throughput during peak harvest windows.
• Value Proposition: Developed by the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, «Efekt» is tailored for stability, providing consistent yield results that meet the rigorous requirements of modern grain markets.

By integrating «Efekt» into a production cycle, farms can benefit from the combination of scientific breeding excellence and practical agronomic traits, ensuring stability from sowing to harvest.
