ECOLOG

Spring barley variety ECOLOG is a medium-maturing and medium-height agricultural product intended for growing grain barley. This variety is distinguished by high yield, averaging around 6.5 tons per hectare, with a maximum reaching 8 tons per hectare. The mass of 1000 grains is 53 grams, and the maturity period is approximately 81 days. ECOLOG is resistant to lodging, with a weakly drooping head, which contributes to maintaining crop quality and harvesting convenience.

The variety has excellent malting qualities and is valued for its outstanding brewing properties, making it in demand in the food industry. It is included in the list of the most valuable quality varieties of Russia and meets agronomic category requirements. Genetic protection of the variety ensures resistance to a number of diseases: it is practically immune to powdery, black, and hard mildew, weakly susceptible to stripe rust, and comparatively resistant to root rots.

ECOLOG is recommended for cultivation in the Volga-Vyatsky and East-Siberian regions. Its originator is the Federal Agrarian Scientific Center of the North-East named after N.V. Rudnitsky. Due to the combination of high yield, disease resistance, and grain quality characteristics, this variety is a reliable choice for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality and stable barley crops.
