Darunok Matery

Astra "Darunok Matery" – an annual plant with a columnar bush shape, 50–60 cm in height and 30–36 cm in diameter. The bush is branched, and the flower stalks are sturdy, 30–38 cm long, ensuring wind resistance and ease of planting.

The inflorescence is characterized by a violet hue with a silver sheen, a densely double hemispherical flower head 12–15 cm in diameter. Flowers are gathered in groups of 15 cm, creating a bright and rich bouquet. The plant starts flowering in early August, and the flowering period is long and abundant, making it popular for both landscape design and cutting.

For growing "Darunok Matery", it is recommended to use fertile soil with good drainage. Seeds are sown in greenhouses in March; at a temperature of 18–20 °C, they germinate within 7 days. After the appearance of the second–fourth true leaf, the plants can be transplanted into open ground, providing them with a sunny place. Further care includes timely watering, loosening of the soil, and fertilizing with complex fertilizers 10–15 days after planting. Regular weeding helps maintain the cleanliness of the flower bed and stimulates the growth of new shoots.
