Opalfoyer is a luxurious cut-flower aster variety, characterized by its bouquet plant form and sturdy flower stems. The inflorescences are large, with a diameter of 10–12 cm, densely double-flowered and glossy, colored in a noble carmine-red hue, giving them a bright and rich appearance.
Each plant simultaneously blooms with 8 to 12 inflorescences, ensuring prolonged and intense flowering throughout the season. Thanks to its form and cutting stability, Opalfoyer is ideal for arranging bouquets, floricultural compositions, and decorative flower beds.
For cultivation, a well-lit area with fertile loamy or sandy-loam soil is recommended. The weight of the seeds is 0.3 g, and the height of the adult plant is about 70 cm. The variety does not require winter cover and lacks cold hardiness, so it is best grown in a temperate climate. Opalfoyer is produced by the Ukrainian manufacturer GL Seeds and is available in a paper packet.
