Aster Petite Rubinrot

A Bold Classic for the Autumn Garden

«Petito Rubinrot» is a perennial aster that has remained a benchmark in the tall needle-petalled variety segment for decades. Developed by Ukrainian breeders, this model has established a firm reputation in both professional landscape design and private gardening, thanks to its ability to form a robust, neat bush reaching 80 cm in height without losing its decorative appeal until the first frosts.

Character and Appearance

The true pride of this variety lies in its expressive blooms. The flower diameter ranges from 10 to 15 cm, making them among the largest of all perennial asters. The needle-like structure of the petals gives the bloom volume and texture, while the deep, rich red hue makes the plant a standout against the fading green of the late-season garden.

Practical Applications

• Cut Flowers: With its sturdy stems, «Petito Rubinrot» is perfect for late-autumn arrangements, maintaining freshness in a vase for up to two weeks.
• Landscape Use: This variety is ideal for creating focal points in the back of flowerbeds, defining garden borders, or mass planting that requires a strong vertical structure.

Despite its striking appearance, the variety is low-maintenance. As a perennial, it is fully hardy in the Ukrainian climate, expanding its root system annually and producing more buds each season. By choosing «Petito Rubinrot», you are investing in a time-tested plant that requires no annual replacement and provides consistent, vibrant visual impact year after year.
