Twilight

The "Twilight" (Twilight) variety is an early autumn aster that creates islands of gentle blue shades in the garden. The adult plant height is between 60 and 80 cm, and the flower size is 2-3 cm. Blooming lasts from August to September; the plant is long-blooming and prefers sunny locations or partial shade.

This aster species features a compact, upright bush that easily fits into natural compositions. The bush is fluffy, with thin and long stems, making it convenient to place near plants it can lean on – such as echinacea, cordgrass, or black-eyed Susan. The aster combines beautifully with ferns, creating harmonious flower beds.

"Twilight" is easy to grow: the plant does not require special conditions and does not tolerate waterlogging. It is suitable for ordinary garden soil and needs sunny lighting. In partial shade, the flowers become deeper in shade. This frost-hardy plant does not need winter covering; before cold sets in, the bush is pruned to the base. Thanks to its resistance to fusarium and ease of growing from seeds, the aster "Twilight" is popular among gardeners both for group plantings and for creating living fences.
