Autumn Evening

Autumn Evening is a popular annual from the Aster genus, which attracts attention with its compact upright form and bright blueish flowers. Bushes usually reach a height of 50 to 75 cm, while the buds can develop up to a diameter of 10–13 cm, creating an impressive visual accent in garden compositions.

The flowering period begins in mid-August and continues until the onset of cold. This makes the plant particularly valuable for late summer and autumn bouquets, as well as for creating living walls and group plantings. Seeds of 'Autumn Evening' are conveniently sown in March–April in a greenhouse or cold frame, after which you can either grow from seedlings or plant directly into the ground in April–May. At temperatures of 18–21 °C, seedlings appear within 6–15 days.

For optimal growth, the plant prefers sunny areas with well-lit and fertile soil. Due to high germination (around 90 %) and resistance to various conditions, 'Autumn Evening' easily fits into floral compositions for cut flowers and living plantings, adding brightness and freshness to the garden even in late autumn.
