Apple variety Rea Gold — a mid-late, high-yielding variety developed by American breeders. Trees are medium-sized, reaching up to 5 meters in height, with a round, not overly spreading canopy. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to common apple diseases, including scab, powdery mildew, and fruit rot, making it especially suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including in Ukraine.

Rea Gold apples have a classic round-conical shape, medium size, and weight ranging from 130 to 150 grams. The skin is light, greenish-yellow, sometimes with a slight pinkish blush. The flesh is light, creamy, fine-grained, very juicy and aromatic. The flavor is balanced, slightly tart-sweet, pleasant and crisp, making the apples versatile for fresh consumption.

Harvesting occurs at the end of August, after which the fruits can be stored under cool conditions for up to 1.5 to 2 months, and they withstand transportation well. Fruit production is stable and early, allowing for high annual yields.
