Rekarda

Rekarda apple — a new winter variety from Germany, distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases. This variety does not require chemical protection, making it environmentally safe and easy to grow. The fruits of the Rekarda apple have an elongated-conical shape and weigh between 140 and 200 grams. They are covered with a pink blush, visible on the sun-exposed side, with a rich dark red coloration and characteristic spots on the skin. The flesh is medium-textured, very tender, sweet with a slight tartness, possessing a strong aroma and pleasant taste, making this variety ideal for dessert consumption.

The ripening period of Rekarda apples is medium-late, and consumer ripeness is retained from November to March, allowing prolonged enjoyment of fresh fruits during the winter period.
