GOLDPET

The Goldpet apple variety represents a high-yield winter variety with a late-winter ripening period, reaching maturity at the end of September – early October. The trees are medium-sized, with a crown that is conical in shape in young age and resembles weeping willow or round in shape in mature state. The fruits are large, weighing from 150 to 200 grams, have a round-conical or elongated shape with pronounced symmetrical ribs. The apple skin is dense, with a characteristic roughness caused by gray corky dots and streaks, painted in yellow-green color with raspberry or blush on the sunny side, which gives the fruits an attractive commercial appearance.

The flesh of the apples is cream-colored, dense, crisp and juicy, with a harmonious taste, combining sweetness and slight sourness. The dessert taste is rich, the aroma underlines the high quality of the fruits. Apples hold well on the tree until harvest, do not drop, which contributes to the convenience of collection. Trees enter fruiting on a medium-sized rootstock already at the age of 3-4 years. The variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing into juices, jams, marmalades and other products.
