Apple Golden Delicious Clon B

The Golden Delicious Clone B apple tree is a late-ripening variety with high yields and excellent cold resistance. The tree is medium-sized, reaching up to 3 meters in height, with a wide-oval, moderately dense crown. It begins fruiting 1-3 years after planting, forming fruit on spurs, fruiting branches, and one-year-old shoots. Flowering occurs in mid to late season, which promotes good fruit set under proper load management. To increase yield, recommended pollinators include Aidared, Gloster, Melrose, Florina, Delcorf, Granny Smith, and Wesey. The fruits of this variety are medium to large in size, weighing 170-190 grams, with a correct elongated-conical shape. The skin is smooth, medium-thick, elastic, green-yellow in color with possible faint pink blush. Unlike the parent variety, Clone B has a more uniform and marketable surface without subcutaneous spots or rusted netting. The flesh is yellowish-cream, dense, fine-grained, juicy, aromatic, with a well-balanced sweet-tart flavor. The fruits have good storability and can be stored until mid-January, and under refrigerated storage conditions — until the end of June. The variety is characterized by moderate disease resistance and high cold tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Harvesting maturity occurs in late September, and the harvesting season continues until the end of October. The fruits of this variety are distinguished by their attractive appearance and excellent taste qualities, making them in demand for both fresh consumption and storage.
