In greenhouse environments, seeds should be sown in late February after being cold-stratified in a refrigerator at 0–2 degrees Celsius for at least a month. This mimics the melting of mountain snow and triggers the embryo's growth process.

The growing medium for sowing must be light, airy, and contain a significant portion of fine grit or sand. Seeds should be buried very shallowly; they are barely covered with substrate because light is crucial for the germination of many mountain-dwelling species.

Seedlings emerge unevenly, which is typical for wild alpine species. Once sprouted, they require moderate humidity and bright, indirect light, avoiding harsh direct sun during the early stages of development.

Transplanting to permanent pots or open ground should only occur after the appearance of two sets of true leaves. The plant is extremely sensitive to root disturbance, so the "trans-planting" method (moving the entire root ball without disruption) is strongly recommended.

Ranunculus mgounicus belongs to the Ranunculaceae family and originates from the high-altitude ecosystems of the Mgoun range in Morocco. The culture has very specific requirements for root aeration and cannot tolerate stagnant water.

The primary soil requirement is a stony structure with excellent drainage. The ideal substrate consists of a mixture of loam, leaf mold, and coarse sand in a 1:1:2 ratio, ensuring that water passes through quickly without waterlogging the roots.

The plant prefers a cool climate with significant diurnal temperature fluctuations. In lowland gardens, it is vital to provide shade during the hottest midday hours and ensure good air circulation to prevent overheating of the root crown.

Lighting should be intense but diffused. In nature, this species inhabits rocky slopes, so it requires an imitation of an alpine rock garden environment with permanent drainage beneath the root collar to remain healthy.

Soil pH should be neutral to slightly acidic. Excessive application of nitrogen fertilizers is detrimental to the culture, as it triggers rapid, succulent vegetative growth that reduces the plant's overall hardiness and disease resistance.

The main threat to this species is fungal root disease, often triggered by excessive moisture. Root rot can destroy the plant within a few days if drainage is poor or if the soil remains wet for too long.

Spider mites can attack the foliage during extended dry spells. Regular inspection of the leaves and maintaining an optimal air humidity level are the most effective preventive measures against these pests.

Aphids often colonize the flower stalks, causing sap loss and bud deformation. To manage these, it is recommended to use biological preparations derived from botanical extracts or soft, systemic insecticides as a secondary measure.

Root-knot nematodes pose a hidden danger to many Ranunculus species. If signs of stunted growth or wilting appear, the specimen should be immediately isolated from other plants to prevent the spread of the infection.

Slugs and snails can cause significant mechanical damage to the young leaves, particularly in rainy weather. The use of granular barriers or regular manual collection during early morning hours effectively minimizes the damage to the foliage.
