For spring cultivation using the seedling method, sowing is carried out in March in specialized seedling boxes or trays with light, nutrient-rich soil. The seed burial depth should not exceed 0.5 centimeters to ensure optimal germination conditions.

An important condition is maintaining a temperature range of 15–18 degrees Celsius until the seeds sprout. After the appearance of the first two true leaves, the seedlings are pricked into individual containers, which promotes the development of a powerful root system.

Hardened seedlings are planted in open ground at the end of May, once the threat of night frosts has passed. The planting scheme should account for the size of the mature plant, leaving a distance of at least 50–60 centimeters between bushes for proper ventilation.

The optimal location for the culture is an area protected from strong winds, as the tall stems of the delphinium can lodge under the influence of air currents.

Delphinium flexuosum belongs to the Ranunculaceae family and is a perennial herbaceous plant with a straight, often slightly curved stem, which is reflected in its specific name. It is an endemic or rare species found in specific high-mountain and foothill regions.

The crop has high requirements for soil quality: it must be loose, fertile, and have a neutral or slightly acidic reaction. In heavy clay soils, the application of organic fertilizers and drainage materials such as sand or peat is necessary.

The plant is photophilous; however, light shading during the hot midday hours is preferred to prevent overheating of the root system. Good illumination is a critical factor for the formation of saturated flower colors and the proper development of flower stalks.

Watering should be regular and moderate, avoiding water stagnation, which is fatal to the roots. During periods of active growth and flowering, Delphinium flexuosum requires additional fertilization with complex mineral fertilizers.

For successful overwintering, the aerial part of the plant is cut back in late autumn, leaving small stumps, which helps prevent rot processes in the rhizome under a layer of snow.

The main threat to Delphinium flexuosum is powdery mildew, which develops under high air humidity and poor air circulation around the bush. The disease manifests as a whitish coating on the leaves, significantly reducing decorative appeal.

Pests such as the delphinium fly can cause significant damage by laying eggs in the buds, leading to premature falling. Systemic insecticides are used to control them during the active growing season.

Slugs and snails often damage young sprouts and leaves, especially in rainy weather. Using granular baits or creating a protective gravel barrier around the flowerbed effectively limits the spread of these pests.

Root rots, occurring due to waterlogging or excessive soil compaction, can lead to the death of the mature plant. Prevention consists of selecting a site with good natural drainage and maintaining a proper watering regime.

Viral diseases, such as ringspot, can affect the plant and are transmitted by aphids. It is important to perform sanitary pruning in a timely manner and destroy affected specimens to prevent epidemics in the area.
