The crop prefers loose, moderately fertile soils with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction. An important condition for successful growth is high-quality drainage that prevents water stagnation near the root system.

The optimal temperature range for Felicia's active development is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. The plant can tolerate short-term drought but suffers during extreme heat combined with high humidity.

Powdery mildew may occur due to sudden temperature changes or poor air circulation around the bush. Prevention involves following correct watering routines and weeding in a timely manner.

Felicia is used primarily as an ornamental plant for landscaping gardens, rock gardens, and forming flower beds. It is valued for its long flowering period from early summer to late autumn.

Collecting inflorescences for bouquets is possible, although Felicia stems are quite fragile. The flowers retain freshness in a vase for several days with daily water changes.

To maintain the plant's aesthetic appeal throughout the season, it is necessary to perform sanitary pruning of faded flowers. This stimulates the formation of new buds and prevents exhaustion of the plant.

In regions with cold winters, Felicia is not left in the ground. In the autumn, the most valuable specimens can be dug up, transplanted into pots, and moved to a cool, bright room until spring.

When grown for seeds, they are harvested as the flower heads ripen. The seeds are small and have moderate germination, so they require careful cleaning and storage in paper bags in a dry place.
