The life cycle of a thrips consists of egg, larva, prepupa, pupa, and adult stages. Damage symptoms include silvery or discolored streaks on leaves, wilting, leaf curling, and stunted terminal growth. In flowers, thrips feeding leads to streaking of petals and early blossom drop.
