The fruits have a cylindrical shape, light cream or milky-white color, and a smooth and weakly ribbed surface. The fruit mass varies from 0.7 to 1.6 kg, the flesh is cream-yellow, tender, juicy, and fibrous. Young fruits are suitable for canning, and the taste qualities of the variety are rated as excellent, making it universal for various culinary purposes, including dietary and baby food.

For successful cultivation, SOVNOVSKIY prefers fertile loamy and clay-loam soils well enriched with organic and mineral fertilizers. Plants are best placed in well-lit areas protected from wind. The variety demonstrates average resistance to powdery mildew and bacteriosis, as well as low susceptibility to fruit rots. Cultivation is possible both by seedling and direct sowing in the ground. Sowing for seedlings is carried out in April, and transplanting into the ground - in May-June. With direct sowing, seeds are sown at the end of May - June with the recommended planting scheme of 60x60 cm.

The yield of the variety is 11-14 kg per square meter. To increase productivity and fruit quality, the use of complex water-soluble mineral fertilizers with NPK content and trace elements, as well as organic top-dressing, is recommended.
