STAKHANOVETS

The zucchini «Stakhanovets» is an early-maturing bush variety, with the first fruits ready for harvesting just 45–50 days after seedling emergence. The plants are compact, featuring beautiful cut leaves, reaching up to 1.2 meters in width and up to 1 meter in height, which facilitates their cultivation even on small garden beds. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, measuring 18-22 cm in length, with a rich dark green color. The flesh is white-creamy, dense, and juicy, 2-2.5 cm thick, with a pleasant taste and small seeds, making them ideal for various culinary purposes. The variety is distinguished by high yield, reaching 420-500 centners per hectare, and resistance to powdery mildew. «Stakhanovets» zucchinis possess cold hardiness and drought resistance, allowing for successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. The fruits are rich in vitamin C and do not accumulate heavy metals, making them beneficial and safe for health. Early and synchronized fruit ripening promotes abundant fruiting and good storability of the harvest. The culinary application of «Stakhanovets» zucchinis is universal: young fruits are suitable for frying in rings, baking, making zucchini caviar, vegetable stews, and salads. They can also be used to make zucchini fritters, and young fruits are excellent for pickling and brining, similar to cucumbers. Thanks to the dense core, the fruits maintain their shape during thermal processing, expanding their possibilities for use in home cooking.
