Watermelon MINI LOVE

Agrotechnical Guidelines for Growing Mini Love F1

The Mini Love F1 hybrid, developed by the French company HM.CLAUSE, is a premium portion-sized watermelon that requires precise agronomic management to reach its full potential. Since its official registration in Ukraine in 2026, it has become a benchmark for intensive production. Success with this hybrid relies heavily on temperature control and moisture management.

Planting and Spacing

A seedling method is highly recommended for optimal results. Sow seeds in trays 25–30 days before transplanting. Ensure soil temperatures reach at least +15°C at a depth of 10 cm before moving plants to the field. A spacing of 1.4–1.6 meters between rows and 0.5–0.7 meters between plants is ideal to ensure adequate space for the compact vine structure.

Care and Nutrient Management

• Irrigation: Mini Love F1 is sensitive to moisture fluctuations. Drip irrigation is essential to maintain consistent soil moisture, especially during the fruit-filling stage, to prevent fruit cracking.
• Soil Requirements: The hybrid thrives in light sandy or loamy soils with excellent drainage and a pH of 6.0–7.0.
• Fertilization: Prioritize potassium-based fertilizers during the fruit-swelling phase. Nitrogen applications should be minimized after flowering begins to prevent excessive vegetative growth and ensure high sugar content in the fruit.

Mini Love F1 is designed for professional growers who prioritize quality and uniformity. By following these intensive cultivation practices, producers can ensure a high-yielding, high-quality harvest of portion-sized watermelons.
