Perlyna Kyieva

Apple tree variety Perлина Kyiv, or Жемчужина Киева, is a winter variety developed in Ukraine in 1984 by crossing the varieties Прісцилла and Рубін. The tree is fast-growing with a wide pyramidal canopy reaching 3-3.5 meters in height, grafted onto the medium-sized rootstock ММ106, which ensures early fruiting on the 3rd-4th year after planting and high productivity. The variety was included in the State Register in 2001 and is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine due to its high winter hardiness and resistance to major diseases of fruit trees such as powdery mildew, scab, fruit rot, and brown spot.
