Rea Bellina apple is a winter variety developed in Germany and recognized as one of the best in the world due to its high resistance to diseases and excellent taste qualities. A medium-growing tree with a spreading crown is highly winter-hardy and resistant to frost during blooming, making it suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine. The variety is characterized by early fruiting, stable high yield, and complete resistance to major apple diseases, allowing cultivation in ecologically clean orchards without chemical protection. Rea Bellina fruits have medium to large size, weighing from 160 to 200 grams, with individual specimens reaching 230 grams. The fruit shape is round-cylindrical, yellow in color with a bright red blush covering 70-90% of the fruit surface. The flesh is creamy, very juicy and aromatic, with a dessert-like flavor featuring pronounced sweetness and a mild pleasant acidity. Thanks to its high commercial quality and excellent transportability, the fruit retains freshness and attractive appearance during transport and storage. Harvesting occurs in mid-September to early October, with a consumption period from November to April. The main use of the fruit is fresh consumption, making the variety especially popular among consumers valuing natural taste and quality. The best pollinators for Rea Bellina are the varieties Prima, Remo, Reglindis, James Grieve, Aidared, Undine, Pilot, and Golden Delicious, which contribute to stable and high yields.
