Triploid late-autumn variety under the conditions of the Krasnodar Krai, obtained by crossing Veteran x Welles tetraploid in 1983 at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection (VNIISPK). Seeds from the hybridization, based on a creative cooperation agreement, were transferred to the North Caucasus Research Institute of Horticulture and Viticulture (SKZNIISiV). Subsequently, sowing of seeds (1984), seedling cultivation, all records and observations were conducted at SKZNIISiV. In 1989, one of the seedlings from this hybrid family (No. 44-29-1) entered fruiting, and in 1994 it was selected as elite. Breeders of the variety: L. I. Dutova, E. N. Sedov, Z. M. Serova, G. A. Sedysheva, T. V. Ragulina, E. V. Ulyanovskaya, T. G. Prychko, L. V. Mahno. In 2000, the variety was accepted for State Testing.
Trees of medium size with a flat-round crown of medium density. Main branches branch off from the trunk at an angle close to straight, arranged compactly, branch tips directed upward. Bark on the trunk and main branches is smooth, gray-brown. Predominant type of fruiting structures — simple and complex rings. Fruit set is also observed on spurs.
Shoots of medium thickness, curved, round in cross-section, brown, without hairs. Buds on the shoot are few, of medium size. Buds are pressed, conical, colored. Leaves are large, elongated, elliptical, slightly pointed, dark green, smooth, shiny, with delicate venation. Leaf margin is finely toothed. Petiole is long, medium thickness, hairy. Fruit buds are hairy, large, elongated. Flowers are large, flat, pinkish, fragrant. Petals are oval, short.
Fruits in the conditions of the Krasnodar Krai are large or very large (350 g), round-conical, regular shape with smooth surface. Fruit skin is smooth, shiny. Main fruit color is greenish. Cover color occupies a large part of the fruit surface in the form of a blurred pink blush. Subcutaneous dots are numerous, small, clearly visible, gray. Peduncle is long, curved. Calyx tube is acute-conical, slightly rusty. Receptacle is open. Dish is deep, wide, ribbed. Heart is medium size, onion-like. Seed chambers are open, medium size. Subcalyx tube is medium length and width, bowl-shaped. Seeds are large, egg-shaped, dark brown.
Fruit flesh is greenish, firm, juicy, finely granular, sweet-sour harmonious flavor with a delicate aroma. Sensory evaluation of appearance is 4.7-4.8 points, flavor — 4.6-4.7 points. Chemical composition of fruits in the Krasnodar Krai is as follows: total sugars — 10.0%, titratable acids — 0.8%, ascorbic acid — 10.5 mg/100g.
Harvesting maturity occurs in the second decade of September under Krasnodar conditions.
Fruits can be stored in a refrigerator until mid-December.
The variety is early-bearing and high-yielding. Over 5 years, average yield was 149 centners/ha, while the control variety Welles yielded only 111 centners/ha. The variety has sufficient winter hardiness. Resistant to scab and powdery mildew.
