Summer variety developed at the Buryat Fruit and Berry Experimental Station. Breeders: L. I. Dubrovskaya, I. A. Novoselova. Obtained by crossing Purple Rannetka with Moscow Pear. Approved for the Republic of Buryatia in 1990. Widely grown in collective orchards of Buryatia, partially in Chita Oblast.
Tree bushy, medium height (3.9 m), with a rounded-oval crown of moderate density. Bark on the trunk and main scaffold branches is gray. Branches are curved, compactly arranged, with tips pointing upward. Bears fruit on simple buds and fruiting spurs.
Shoots are brown, hairy in the upper part, medium thickness, curved, round in cross-section. Buds are small and few. Buds are medium-sized, conical, hairy, pressed against the shoot.
Leaves are light green, medium-sized. Base is arched, margin finely toothed. Blade is medium thickness, smooth, matte, without hairs. Petiole is medium length and thickness, weakly colored at the base. Petiole leaves are lanceolate.
Flowers are small, cup-shaped, white, stigma stigmas rise above the anthers.
Fruits are exceptionally small, one-dimensional, spherical, equilateral, smooth. Main color is orange, covering color is dark red, very strong and blurred. Skin is smooth with a slight bluish coating, slightly rusted at the peduncle. Length and thickness of the peduncle — medium. Calyx is small, broad, ribbed.
Flesh is creamy, taste slightly sour-sweet with a mild aroma. Flesh is tender, medium juiciness, fine-grained.
Fruits are attractive, taste average. Chemical composition of fruits: total sugar — 14.3%, titratable acid — 1.3%, ascorbic acid — 15.3 mg/100g, up to 26 mg/100g, P-active substances — 308 mg/100g.
Ultra-early ripening variety (64 days).
Fruits are eaten fresh and suitable for processing into compotes, juices, jams. Fruits can be stored for 40 days.
Self-sterile. Best pollinators: Slava Buryatia, Kravchenko's Seedling.
Trees begin fruiting from the third year. Fruit production is irregular. High-yielding variety, fruit yield per tree at full fruiting is 26.5 kg.
Variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, moderate drought resistance, and heat tolerance.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness and yield, early fruit ripening, high vitamin content.
Disadvantages of the variety: small fruit size, tendency to irregular fruiting.
Variety is recommended for wide use in collective and private orchards of northern regions and BAM sites. Used in breeding.
