Description Memory Semakinu
Triploid variety with winter-ripening fruits, developed at the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection, obtained by pollination in 1974 of the 'Welsh' variety with pollen from hybrid seedling 11-24-28 (Golden Graim seedling). Breeders: E. N. Sedov, Z. M. Serova, N. G. Krasova, G. A. Sedysheva.
In 1994, the variety was accepted for State Testing in the Central Chernozem and Central regions. In 2001, it was included in the State Register.

Large, fast-growing tree with a sparse, rounded crown. Main branches are curved, emerging from the trunk at an angle close to straight; branch tips point upward. Bark on the trunk and main branches is smooth, dark gray. The predominant type of fruiting structures is simple and complex rings, fruiting spurs. Fruiting occurs also at the tips of growth shoots.

Shoots are thick, curved, brownish-brown, glabrous, round in cross-section. Buds are numerous, pressed, conical, glabrous. Leaves are large, broad, egg-shaped, short-pointed, dark green, wrinkled, matte, with coarse venation. Leaf blade is concave, slightly hairy, curved downward. Leaf margin is doubly toothed, with large waves. Petiole is long, hairy. Flower buds are large, hairy, rounded-conical.
Flowers are large, dish-shaped, pink, in buds — intensely pink with a purplish tinge, petals round with raised edges, moderately closed; stigma level with very large anthers.

Fruits are large, one-dimensional, flattened, broadly ribbed, tapered. Fruit skin is delicate, smooth, glossy. Main color is greenish-yellow, covering a large part of the fruit surface as red stripes on a light-red background. Subcutaneous dots are numerous, medium-sized, green, clearly visible. Fruit stem is short, thick, obliquely positioned. Calyx is of medium depth, acute-conical, narrow, with slight rusting. Receptacle is half-open. Dish is deep, ribbed. Core is large, bulbous, seed chambers large, closed. Sub-receptacle tube is long, wide, conical. Seeds are large, cup-shaped, brown.
Flesh is greenish, dense, juicy, tender, fine-grained, with a sour-sweet taste.
Fruits are characterized by an attractive appearance (4.6 points) and pleasant taste (4.2 points). Chemical composition of the fruits is as follows: total sugars — 9.4%, titratable acids — 0.57%, ascorbic acid — 8.4 mg/100g, P-active substances — 504 mg/100g, pectic substances — 15.4%.
Fruit harvesting in the Oryol region takes place in mid-September; fruits can be stored in a refrigerator until mid-February.
Early-bearing, regularly fruiting, with high-quality fruits. Cold-hardy, resistant to scab better than Antonovka ordinary.

Advantages of the variety: early bearing, high regular yield, fruit quality, resistance to scab.

Disadvantages of the variety: vigorous tree growth.
