Description Hitrovoy Memory
Immune to scab, winter variety from the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection, obtained by sowing seeds of the immune form OR18T13 from open pollination in 1981. Breeders: E. N. Sedov, Z. M. Serova, V. V. Zhданov, E. A. Dolmatov, A. N. Borodina, V. I. Pavlyuk.
The variety was accepted for State Testing in 2001 and included in the State Register of Selection Achievements since 2002.

Medium-sized trees, fast-growing, with rounded, moderately dense crowns. Main branches branch off the trunk at an angle close to straight. Predominant fruiting forms are simple and complex clusters.

Branches of medium thickness, straight, angular in cross-section, brown, hairy. Buds are small and sparse. Buds are small, conical, pressed, smooth. Leaves are medium-sized, egg-shaped, short-pointed, with a spirally twisted apex, light green, wrinkled, with a yellowish tinge, with coarse venation. Leaf blade is concave and hairy. Leaf margin is coarsely toothed and wavy. Petiole is long, medium thickness, bare.

Fruits are above-average size (160 g), flattened, conical, ribbed. Fruit skin is delicate, oily, with a waxy coating. Main color is greenish when harvested and greenish-yellow at consumption. Surface color is bright red blush and speckles on most of the fruit. Subcutaneous spots are small, gray, barely noticeable. Calyx is of medium depth, acute-conical, strongly rusted gray. Peduncle is short, oblique. Receptacle is deep, wide, ridged. Calyx is closed, with a long, sac-like nectar tube. Heart is medium-sized, heart-shaped. Seed chambers are closed. Seeds are medium-sized, egg-shaped.
Fruit flesh is white, creamy, medium density, juicy, tart-sweet flavor, with a mild aroma. Taste evaluation of fruits is 4.3-4.4 points. Chemical composition of fruits: total sugar content — 11.9%, titratable acids — 0.8%, ascorbic acid — 4.8 mg/100g.
Harvesting maturity of fruits in the Oryol region occurs in mid-September. Consumer period of fruits lasts from October to the end of February. The variety is characterized by good and regular yield, sufficient winter hardiness.

Advantages of the variety: immunity to scab (gene Vf), regular fruiting, high commercial and consumer qualities of fruits.
