Nadyusha

Winter wheat hard variety Nadyusha is a high-yielding and resilient variety suitable for use in pasta and confectionery industries, as well as for food purposes. This variety was included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2021 and is recommended for cultivation in the Forest Steppe and Steppe zones. Nadyusha has a medium-late maturity period with a vegetation period of approximately 90-92 days and plant height ranging from 111 to 116 cm. Thousand kernel weight is 36-41 grams, indicating good grain quality.

The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 6 tons per hectare, with actual yields sometimes reaching around 40 centners per hectare. A key feature is its high protein content (15.4-15.6%) and gluten content (32.3-35.6%), ensuring excellent technological properties of the grain for pasta and bakery product manufacturing. Nadyusha exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, fusarium, and scab, as well as to pests such as the harmful bug. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high resistance to lodging, shattering, and seed germination on the root.

For successful cultivation, optimal seed storage conditions are recommended at a temperature of +7-10°C and humidity not exceeding 10%. Seed rate is 200-225 kg per hectare or 5.0-5.5 million seeds per hectare. Nadyusha shows good adaptability to drought conditions, confirmed by drought resistance rating of 7.5-8 points. Due to its agronomic and technological characteristics, this variety is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality, high-yield products.
