Description Dobroto
The Dobroto corn hybrid is a versatile mid-early variety designed for cultivation as grain or silage. It features high yields reaching up to 165 ц/ha, excellent stalk and leaf biomass, and high starch content in both grain and silage. Plants are tall, ranging from 270 to 290 cm in height, with erect leaf type, promoting good development and crop resilience.

The Dobroto ear measures 20-25 cm in length, 4-5 cm in diameter, and is positioned 110-120 cm above the plant base. Each ear contains 540 to 680 yellow, dent-type kernels arranged in 16-18 rows with 34-38 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight is 320-370 g, indicating high kernel quality and density. The hybrid exhibits good drying capacity, facilitating harvest and storage.

Dobroto demonstrates high resistance to adverse environmental conditions and diseases. It tolerates cold and drought well and exhibits high resistance to Fusarium, Helminthosporium, powdery mildew, and wilt. Recommended planting rates vary by region: 70-75 thousand plants/ha for forest-steppe zones and 50-65 thousand plants/ha for steppe zones. The hybrid is widely grown in steppe and forest-steppe climate zones and is produced by Saatbau Linz.
