IS JARIELLA

Wheat variety IS JARIELLA is a medium-maturing, tall variety with a vegetation period of 95-100 days and plant height of about 70 cm. This variety is characterized by high resistance to drought, lodging, and shattering, confirmed by ratings of 8-9 points for corresponding traits. Heading occurs early, and the grain is hard, egg-shaped, and large. Thousand-grain weight varies from 44 to 51.5 g, indicating high yield quality. Protein content in the grain ranges from 13.9-15.7%, and gluten content reaches 29%, ensuring good baking properties.

IS JARIELLA exhibits high resistance to major wheat diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, and septoria, with resistance ratings of 7-8 points. It also demonstrates good resistance to frost and drought, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, such as forest-steppe, Polissia, and steppe. Recommended seeding rate is 4.5-6 million seeds per hectare, with optimal sowing time being early, which contributes to achieving maximum yield.

IS JARIELLA belongs to semi-dwarf and semi-compact varieties with high yield potential, averaging about 103.5 c/ha, and may reach 113.9 c/ha in favorable years. The variety is characterized by simultaneous maturity and rapid grain filling, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses.
