DALGHAU 1 is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), characterized by medium maturity and medium plant height. The vegetative period lasts 78-86 days, ripening simultaneously with the Dahlnevostochnaya 10 variety or a few days later. The variety is capable of forming high-quality grain with a 1000-kernel mass ranging from 26.7 to 39.6 grams. It possesses resistance to leafy brown rust and powdery bunt, and also demonstrates drought tolerance and heat resistance. Moreover, DALGHAU 1 is resistant to lodging, which contributes to stable crop formation.
The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and Far Eastern regions, specifically the Amur region. The variety's yield varies depending on growing conditions and the region: the maximum registered yield reached 72 centners per hectare, while the average yield in the Far Eastern region is about 23-28 centners per hectare, exceeding average standard indicators.
Research conducted between 2017 and 2021 showed that the DALGHAU 1 variety responds positively to the application of micro-fertilizers such as molybdenum and copper, which increases yield by 3.7–8.5 centners per hectare compared to the control. At the same time, the variety demonstrates varying degrees of ecological plasticity and stability depending on fertilizer options, which allows adapting agrotechnologies to specific growing conditions and increasing grain production efficiency.
