Dominant F1 is an early high-yielding melon hybrid, characterized by a short maturation period of 60 to 78 days from transplanting seedlings or from full germination. The plant is trailing with a long main vine and medium-sized green leaves, ensuring good development and fruit formation. The hybrid is suitable for both early and main growing seasons, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions and agricultural practices.



Fruits of the Dominant hybrid have an oval or broadly elliptical shape with a weight ranging from 4 to 12 kg, depending on growing conditions. The rind is of medium thickness with a green background and dark green wide stripes, which have a prickly structure. The flesh has an excellent dark red color, crispy texture, and great taste. Dry matter content is 8.3-9.2%, while total sugar levels vary from 6.2 to 8.6%, providing sweetness and juiciness to the fruits. Seeds are large, brown in color, with a characteristic pattern of dots and spots.



The Dominant hybrid is resistant to diseases such as fusarium and anthracnose, enhancing crop reliability and reducing loss risks. Marketable fruit yield on non-irrigated land reaches 187-386 c/ha, and with irrigation can increase up to 290-596 c/ha, which is 40-140 c/ha higher than standard hybrids. Fruits are well-transportable, making this melon attractive for commercial cultivation and marketing.
