SURUCHENSKY WHITE

Suruchensky White is a universal grape variety of medium-late ripening that is distinguished by good vine maturity and high frost resistance up to -28 °C without cover. The bushes of this variety are medium-sized or above average in growth strength, with bisexual flowers, which ensures stable fruiting. Bunches have a cylinder-conical shape, medium or large size, weighing from 240 to 850 grams, and berries are quite large, round, greenish-yellow in color with a characteristic tan, weighing from 3 to 7 grams. The pulp is juicy with a harmonious taste, which combines pleasant sweetness and acidity.

The variety is characterized by increased resistance to main fungal diseases such as mildew, anthracnose, oidium, and gray mold of berries, which significantly facilitates care and reduces the risk of crop losses. The yield of the variety is 14-16 tons per hectare, which makes it attractive for commercial cultivation. Ripening occurs in the first half of September, at which time the berries are well preserved on the bushes until frost, which contributes to increased sugar content and improved taste qualities.

Suruchensky White is universal in use: its berries are suitable for fresh consumption, long-term storage, as well as for the production of table white wines and juices. Wine from this variety is fresh, with a characteristic aroma reminiscent of Riesling, which makes it in demand among lovers of quality white wines. Due to its characteristics and resistance, the variety is widely used in viticulture and winemaking.
