MATRONA

Vegetable pea variety MATRONA is an early high-yielding variety, distinguished by high resistance to drought conditions and shattering. The plants have a standard height of 52 to 90 cm and belong to the semi-leafless type. Flowers are white, two per node, and seed leaves are yellow. Due to its resistance to shattering and lodging, the variety is excellent for combine harvesting, which facilitates the harvest process.

Variety MATRONA is characterized by high protein content in the grain — from 22 to 24%, making it valuable for food use. The vegetative period ranges from 68 to 80 days, allowing for harvest in relatively short time. Sowing rate is 250-300 kg per hectare. Additionally, the variety possesses resistance to root rot, which enhances its reliability and reduces crop loss risks.
