Tulip Virichic

Reliable aesthetics for commercial landscaping

The Viridiflora class tulip 'Virichic' is the ideal choice for those seeking a balance between exotic decorative appeal and agronomic predictability. Unlike more temperamental varieties, this hybrid possesses robust resistance to a range of common phytopathogens, which is critical when managing mass plantings in park zones or commercial cut flower production.

Agrotechnical advantages

• Pathogen resistance: The plant shows strong resilience against anthracnose, downy mildew, ascochyta blight, and powdery mildew. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications and lowers the risk of quality loss in high-humidity environments.
• Flowering reliability: With its mid-season blooming window, 'Virichic' allows for precise scheduling of landscaping projects and market deliveries.
• Structural integrity: The medium height of the flower stem ensures stability against lodging, even during strong spring winds, which simplifies maintenance and preserves plant appearance without requiring additional support stakes.

Practical application

The primary advantage of 'Virichic' in a production or landscape setting is its ability to create durable, long-lasting displays. Due to the unique petal structure characteristic of the Viridiflora group and its soft pink hue, this variety is highly sought after for urban landscaping projects where plant durability against temperature fluctuations and minimal chemical intervention are essential requirements.
