Chrysanthemum HOLY STAR CHRYSANTHEMUM

A Compact Highlight for Your Garden

"Zvezda Zavetnaya" (Cherished Star) is a breeding achievement by Lyubov Markina, designed for those who value predictability in gardening. This low-growing chrysanthemum variety (up to 30 cm) eliminates the need for staking or structural support. The plant maintains its own shape, forming a dense, neat mound, which is critical for decorative plantings in limited spaces.

Operation and Maintenance

Unlike taller varieties, this chrysanthemum requires less intensive maintenance. Its root system is compact, allowing for efficient planting in both open ground and pots. When managed as a potted culture, it serves as a mobile decor element: the plant is easily moved to create seasonal color accents on terraces or porches.

• Blooming: Mid-season (October). During the autumn garden decline, this variety provides reliable and stable output.
• Flower Size: Small-flowered (up to 5 cm). Ideally suited for creating dense, uniform ornamental beds.
• Purpose: Highly versatile — from cutting for small interior bouquets to garden border landscaping.

Maintenance is limited to timely watering and monitoring soil moisture, especially during the flowering stage. Due to its compact dimensions, the variety is resistant to lodging, minimizing damage from wind or heavy rain. It is a reliable tool for those seeking the perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and easy vegetative control.
