Tulip Snow Lady

Stability and Aesthetics for Commercial Flower Production

The Triumph class tulip 'Snow Lady' is a strategic choice for professional flower growers aiming for high-quality white blooms with mid-season timing. By integrating this variety into the crop rotation, producers mitigate the risks associated with pathogen-related losses, which is critical for both greenhouse forcing and field cultivation.

Key Agronomic Advantages

• Robust Disease Resistance: The variety exhibits significant resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. Furthermore, its tolerance to root rot reduces plant mortality during the rooting and storage phases.
• Logistical Efficiency: The medium height of this cultivar ensures structural integrity, meaning stems are less prone to lodging. This simplifies maintenance, such as irrigation and protective spraying, and reduces labor costs during harvest.
• Triumph Quality Standard: The dense, classic white goblet shape retains its freshness for an extended period post-harvest, making it highly desirable for competitive retail markets.

Practical Field Applications

The 'Snow Lady' is optimized for conveyor-style production. Because of its predictable mid-season bloom time, it serves as an efficient link between early and late-season hybrids. Agronomists value the high uniformity of this variety, which allows for single-pass harvesting, thereby reducing manual labor requirements significantly.

Under controlled greenhouse conditions, the variety responds reliably to temperature adjustments, enabling growers to meet specific delivery deadlines with precision. In field conditions, 'Snow Lady' is valued for its resilience against fluctuating weather patterns common during the spring, ensuring a consistent and high-quality yield for the farm.
